I took my go-to smoothie recipe (banana & almond butter) and turned it into a thick smoothie bowl with a chocolate shell. Talk about delish! I topped it off with crushed pecans and sea salt, and honestly, this breakfast dish tasted like a Snickerdoodle! Viral Magic Shell Smoothie Bowl

The viral Magic Shell Smoothie Bowl is definitely worth the hype! It makes for the perfect breakfast, especially when you are looking for a quick & simple dish for those busy mornings!
Magic Shell Smoothie Bowl
Prep Time:5 minutes
Cook Time:5 minutes
Yields: 1

Ingredients

Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 cup frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup fairlife ultrafiltered partly skimmed milk
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter

Magic Shell

  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Toppings

  • 2 tbsp crushed pecans
  • sea salt

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine fairlife 1% ultrafiltered partly skimmed milk, frozen bananas, maple syrup and peanut butter. Blend until smooth.
  • Add mixture to a small bowl and add to freezer for 5-8 minutes. In a microwavable safe bowl, add chocolate chips and coconut oil. Add to microwave for 20-30 seconds until chocolate chips are melted. Add melted chocolate over the top of the smoothie mixture and let sit in the freezer for 10-12 minutes, until the chocolate is hardened. Add toppings and enjoy!
