Viral Baked Oats; the newest recipe that is taking the internet by storm! When I first saw that baked oats were trending on TikTok & IG – I could not contain my excitement because I make baked oats ALL THE TIME and with different variations!

Baked oats are a delicious and easy breakfast, lunch and dessert recipe! What i love most about this recipe is that you can put your own spin on it and add in ingredients that you like! From protein powders to chia seeds to nut butters- you can make this recipe your own. Sometimes, I’ll add blueberries into the mixture with lemon zest to create a delicious blueberry lemon baked oats flavor! Also, this baked oats recipe can be used as muffins! Rather than placing the mixture into a baking dish- you can add it to muffin trays and make delicious muffins! Who else loves when recipes are very versatile?!

Baked Oats Ingredients Swaps

If there are ingredients that you want to swap out, I’ve listed some recommendations for the recipe below! You can always add in your own ingredients to the recipe like 1 scoop of protein powder, 1 tbsp chia seeds or 1 tbsp of nut butter!

  • Nutella -> Cocoa Powder
  • Egg -> Flax egg
  • Maple Syrup -> Agave or monk fruit sweetener
  • Cocoa nibs -> vegan chocolate chips

Nutella Baked Oats

Prep Time 10 mins
Cook Time 25 mins

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp nutella
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cacao nibs
  • 1 egg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray ramekin or baking dish with cooking spray. Add oats, maple syrup, salt, banana, baking powder and egg to blender. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until mixture is smooth. Add mixture to the ramekin half way. Add nutella to center of the mixture. Cover nutella with remaining mixture. Top with cocoa nibs. Bake for 22 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 5-7 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
