Itโs no secret Iโm obsessed with middle eastern cuisine and one of my favorite middle eastern dishes is hummus! My creamy hummus recipe is not only easy, healthy and delicious, but it also makes me feel as if Iโm back in Tel Aviv- sitting and eating in the most special place ๐ check out the recipe below and donโt forget to save and share! xx โฃ

Ingredients โฃ
1 can of chickpeas โฃ
1 lemon, juiced โฃ
Salt + Pepper (1 tsp of salt + 1 tsp of pepper)โฃ
2 tbsp of paprika โฃ
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup of water โฃ
1/4 cup of tahini โฃ
1 tbsp of garlic, chopped โฃ

Toppings: โฃ
1 tsp Paprika โฃ
1 tbsp of olive oil โฃ
2 tbsp of tahini โฃ
Parsleyโฃ
โฃ
Directions โฃ
1. Drain chickpeas from the can and rinse under cold water for 2-3 minutes. In the bowl of the food processor, mix together chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, water and tahini. Process for 1 minute on high โฃ
2. Scrape the sides of the food processor with a spoon and add in garlic, paprika, salt + pepper. Process for 45 seconds or until the mixture is smooth and creamy โฃ
3. If your hummus is too thick add 2-3 tbsp of water and blend for another 30-45 seconds โฃ
4. Scrape hummus into a bowl and use your spoon to create an indent on the top of the mixture. This creates a small divot for your olive oil + tahini. Sprinkle parsley and paprika on top โฃ
