Juicy chicken thighs marinated in a zesty mix of lime, honey, garlic, and spices, then cooked to perfection for a sweet, tangy, and flavorful dish.
Juicy Honey Lime Chicken Thighs in Minutes
Yields: 5 people

Ingredients

Chicken Marinade

  • 10-12 chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tosp salt
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
  • 2 garlic cloves grated
  • 1 tosp honey
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • Juice & zest of 2 limes

Instructions

Make the Marinade and marinate the chicken

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, chili flakes, grated garlic, honey, lime juice, lime zest, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them thoroughly in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.

Cook the Chicken

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken for 5โ€“7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and nicely charred.

Serve

  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with extra lime wedges or fresh herbs if desired.
