Rustic Steak and Burrata on Baguette

A deliciously simple sandwich featuring tender steak, creamy burrata, peppery arugula, and zesty roasted garlic aioli, all layered on a crisp baguette. Perfect for an easy yet indulgent meal.

Ingredients

For the Sandwich

  • Baguette
  • Arugula
  • Steak cooked to your preference
  • Burrata cheese
  • Aioli
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

For the Aioli

  • Roasted garlic
  • Mayonnaise
  • Lemon juice and zest
  • Fresh chives chopped

Instructions

For the Steak

  • Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the steak to your desired doneness.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
  • Slice the steak thinly.

For the Aioli

  • In a small bowl, combine roasted garlic, mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped chives to make the aioli.
  • Mix the aioli ingredients well and set aside.

Assemble

  • Slice the baguette lengthwise.
  • Lightly toast the baguette if desired.
  • Spread a generous layer of aioli on both sides of the bread.
  • Layer the arugula evenly over the bottom half of the baguette.
  • Add the sliced steak on top of the arugula.
  • Place burrata cheese over the steak.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the burrata.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Close the sandwich and slice to serve.
