Hot Honey Salmon

Sweet, spicy, and ready in under 30 minutes — this Hot Honey Salmon is glazed in a sticky soy-honey-lime marinade and finished with fresh herbs and a kick of chili flakes. An easy weeknight dinner that tastes anything but basic.

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 4 Salmon Filets
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds

Marinade

  • ¼ Cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Lime juiced and zested
  • 1 Clove Garlic grated
  • ½ Teaspoon Chili Flakes
  • Salt & Pepper

Garnish

  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Handful Green Onions roughly chopped
  • 2 Limes quartered
  • 1 Bunch Parsley finely chopped
  • ¼ Teaspoon Chili Flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Line a large baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Pat dry salmon and season with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  • Add all marinade ingredients into a measuring cup or small bowl.
  • Mix together until combined.
  • Season as necessary.
  • Pour marinade over the salmon.
  • Add lime zest and sesame seeds on top of the salmon.
  • Let sit for 5-10 minutes in the fridge, covered.
  • Add salmon to the oven and bake for 12-14 minutes.
  • Broil for 2 minutes.
  • Remove salmon from oven and spoon over the drippings on top of the salmon.
  • Plate salmon and top with green onions, parsley, honey, red chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the drippings to a bowl (strain when doing so) and add additional chili flakes, green onions, and parsley to the sauce.
  • Serve and enjoy!
