Whipped Feta Dip with Sizzling Shallot Oil & Roasted Tomatoes

Whipped Feta Dip is one of my most viral recipes and now I'm pairing it with the tastiest Sizzling Shallot Oil! This dish will definitely be a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

Whipped Feta Dip

  • 8 oz. Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup water
  • black pepper

Sizzling Shallot Oil

  • 1 small shallot, diced
  • 1/4 cup basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grapeseed oil

Roasted Tomatoes

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400F degrees. Wash tomatoes and add to baking dish. Season with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic. Mix together and bake for 25-28 minutes until tomatoes are roasted.
  • Combine all whipped feta ingredients in a food processor or blender. Mix together until smooth. Add to a bowl.
  • Combine all ingredients for sizzling shallot oil in a bowl. Heat oil in a saucepan of skillet. Once it’s heated – the oil should be shimmering, add to a bowl and mix ingredients together.
  • Add roasted tomatoes on top of whipped feta dip followed by sizzling shallot oil. Top with black pepper and a few crushed prune nuts. Serve with a toasted baguette and enjoy!

Notes

Serve this dish with crudites, toasted baguette or crackers!
