Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 lb chicken wings, tips cut off
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp flakey salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, divided
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3-4 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 420F°. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat dry wings and season and add them to a large mixing bowl. Add in corn starch, salt, pepper and onion powder. Mix together. Place chicken wings on baking sheet or wire wrack. Do not overcrowd the baking sheet. Drizzle wings with olive oil and bake for 30 minutes per side. When you flip wings half way, make sure to drizzle the wings with olive oil.
  • While wings are in the oven, add soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger and rice vinegar to a bowl and set aside. Remove wings from oven and top with flakey salt. Add wings to a large bowl and pour the sauce overtop of the wings and toss. Plate wings and drizzle honey on top. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve and enjoy!
