Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

I’ve never been to Aruba before and it has always been a destination that I have wanted to travel too! There is truly nothing better than beautiful beaches, warm weather and delicious food. When the opportunity arose to join the Aruba Marriott Resort for Eat Local Month– I knew I had to go and was so excited that one of my closest friends, Lena of @EastCoastFeastCoast would be joining me.

In Aruba, October happens to be the island’s “Eat Local” month, an ongoing event dedicated to inviting locals and travelers alike to explore its culinary heritage with locally inspired dishes like, Keshi Yeni and Pisca Cora, with prix-fixe meals at affordable prices. The Aruba Marriott Resort and its La Vista restaurant is a proud participant of the event, and I’m so happy that I got to be apart of it! Keep reading for a full recap of my amazing stay at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino.

Food

I truly believe that food is one of the most important parts of travelling. Although I may be a tad bit bias, whenever I travel the first thing that I always do is plan where / when I am going to eat. However, when I came to the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino I didn’t have to worry because the dining options are endless!

Lobby Bar

For starters the hotel lobby is decked out with a Starbucks, Happy Hour and a fresh sushi bar that offers up great food! From the fresh sushi and sashimi options to the extensive cocktail list– the lobby bar is the perfect place to relax after exploring the beautiful Aruba beach.

La Vista

Not only is the Sunday Bottomless Mimosa Brunch at La Vista absolutely epic, as they serve everything from fresh oysters and shrimp to personalized crepe and omelet stations. They also serve ‘Eat Local’-inspired dishes like Pastechi, which is a Caribbean pastry filled with Gouda cheese and is typically served as an Aruban breakfast or snack. La Vista is also open for dinner every night and has a special ‘Eat Local’ dinner menu that we got to enjoy! Lena and myself also got to enjoy a Healthy Cooking Class at La Vista with head Chef, Ever de Peña. It was great to be able to watch the chef in action while he whipped up Red Snapper with Sweet Potato Puree and Quinoa Salad. It was so fresh and delicious!

White Modern Cuisine

White Modern Cuisine is a restaurant off of the Aruba Marriott property, located in the Gold Coast Clubhouse Noord. White Modern is an exquisite dining experience in Aruba that also offered a ‘Eat Local’ menu featuring high quality ingredients and delicious food! Not to mention, the views that White Modern cuisine are also unbelievably beautiful!

Waves Beach Bar & Grill

There is nothing better than enjoying fresh food while lounging on the beach in Aruba. The Waves Bar & Grill is actually the largest beachside bar and grill in Aruba and is a casual poolside restaurant that is the ideal spot to relax and indulge! I recommend ordering the Tuna Taki Salad and the electric lemonade cocktail.

Property

The oceanfront views from our room were absolutely breathtaking, as our room out-looked the beautiful beach and palapas alongside a stunning sunset every night. We absolutely loved our room at the Aruba Marriott, as it was extremely spacious and clean!

One of my favorite parts of the hotel was the Adults-only H2Oasis pool. The exclusive pool is a great place to unwind and relax while staying at the Aruba Marriott hotel.

Thank you to the Aruba Marriott Hotel & Stellaris Casino for the most amazing stay! It’s safe to say that the Aruba Marriott Resort is the ultimate foodie destination and I can’t wait to travel back soon!
