Flash back to my University days, when I could wake up after an insanely boozy night, go to the gym and move on with my day. Fast forward to present day at 24 years old. I wake up hungover and feel like I have been run over by a truck, twice. However, instead of waking up early on my precious hangover mornings and going to the gym, I now check Instagram to see where the closest and greasiest food is that will help me recover from my wild night out.

Here are my Top 5 Brunch Places in Toronto that will help you get through those rough Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Saturday Dinette
On the corner of Gerrard Street you’ll find one of my all time favorite brunch spots in Toronto, Saturday Dinette. Not only do you get coffee served in a fancy French Press, but you also get to enjoy some of the most delicious meals, which are personally prepared with love and soul from the owner and head chef: Suzanne Barr. The Everything Delish must haves at Saturday Dinette include, the scrumptious homemade biscuits that have a delish kick to them, the shroom toast that is topped with a perfectly fried egg and onions, and the staple Dinette Brekkie, which comes with all of the delish items in the menu like eggs, beans, hash browns grits and greens.

Schmaltz Appetizing
One of my favorite bagel spots in the city, Schmaltz Appetizing, is definitely a go to when you need that hangover cure. While you may run into some familiar faces from the night before, Schmaltz Appetizing’s sandwiches are the definition of: BAE-GOALS. I usually get the classic bagel; house cured lox, and cream cheese and chives! However, there is an array of in-house cured smoke salmon flavors you can choose from such as, smoked pastrami salmon, beetroot or lemon dill gravlax, and many more.

School Restaurant
Super Cheesy Bacon French Toast topped with Ontario Maple Syrup is just one of the delish staples that you can find at School Restaurant. They also specialize in Black n Blue Flapjacks, which are stacked high with black and blueberry sauce, brown sugar butter, vanilla whip and pure maple syrup. You can also find delicious salad options for those who over indulged in late night drunk food the night before! Trust me, this is the type of School everyone wants to attend. Lisa Marie
Pad Thai Fries. Enough said. Located in the heart of Toronto’s fashion district, Lisa Marie definitely does not disappoint. One thing that I love about this trendy Fidel Gastro restaurant is that the menu is constantly changing and evolving in the most delish way! One of the classic dishes that is a must try is definitely the Fresh Cornish Hen and Corn Bread Waffles! Talk about delish!

Carbon Bar
Recently I went to Carbon Bar and was huge fan of their brunch menu! I absolutely loved the Fried Chicken & Waffles, which I paired with the Black Mamba Margherita. The Black Mamba Margherita is unlike anything that I have ever tried before! Who would drink a black drink super hungover? I did, and it was insanely delish! (Check it out on my Instagram!) This drinks consists of charcoal infused Olmeca Los Altos Blanco, St. Germain, lime, orange bitters, and a sea salt rim!
