The Delish Diaries: #SelfCareSunday
If you have been following Everything Delish for quite some time now, you know that I have started the transition into more lifestyle, as it is a significant part of who I am through Everything Delish. Although Everything Delish started off as a “food” account, it has rapidly evolved into a space where I now get to put myself in front of the camera and share my daily with my followers. This is the beauty of social media, where I now get to show you a more personal glimpse of my life!

A few of my favorite products
I believe that the word delish doesn’t have to coincide with just food and this is something that I discuss in my first #DelishDiaries blog post. I believe that delish can be a term to define the good, whether it be related to food or not. Something that I practice on the daily is SELF CARE, and this is something that I recently preached while taking over Elite Daily’s Instagram Stories to show a night out in Tel Aviv. In my takeover, I included my favourite products from makeup to skin care, and got a ton of questions about them! This is why I decided to start this #SelfCareSunday post.
Every week, I will post about #SelfCareSunday whether it be through a post on my Instagram or blog, you will be seeing something new! So make sure your push notifications are on and you’re staying up to date with my blog to ensure you never miss a post! Keep reading below to read about my self care routine that I practice everyday, and it’s all about taking care of your skin!
My Daily Skin Care Routine

The Delish Diaries: #SelfCareSunday
Since becoming an avid “Instagrammer” I am able to label myself as a product-junkie. I swear social media has become a tool that assists me in finding the hottest trends / products; whether it be about skin care, makeup, clothes, etc. I would never say that I was “blessed” with perfect skin, as we all find flaws somewhere. Fortunately, I never had acne-prone skin, but that doesn’t mean that my skin isn’t oily and that I still struggle with the fact that I have really big pores (eeek). Funny enough, I actually never cared much about taking care of my skin / makeup routine, until my best friend Tori introduced me to moisturizer and liquid eye liner in first year University at McGill. Prior to Tori’s introduction, my “top eyeliner” was a combination of makeup from the night before and excess mascara on my eye lid- yes, I know…very embarrassing.
I definitely think I have come a long way since my first encounters with liquid eye liner and moisturizer in first year, and I am happy to share my daily skin routine with all of you (I really think it has evolved a lot)!
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil
First things first, I start by cleansing my skin with Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil. I didn’t discover this life-changing product until a few months ago when I was in NYC with my fav, Lena of @EastCoastFeastCoast! Not only does this cleanser remove makeup with out water (hence why I used the term life changing), but it is also enhanced with enriched oils that leave your skin feeling soothed for optimal nighttime replenishment.
Garnier Micellar Water
Step two is always removing the excess makeup that the cleansing oil wasn’t able to fully take-off with Garnier’s Micellar Water. Yes, some people think that this $8 basically water product is a “scam”, but for someone like me who wears contacts daily it is one of the only makeup removers that doesn’t irritate my contacts and eyes.
Shiseido Power Infusing Concentrate
I was never someone that believed in “essential serums” for my skin until I tried Shiseido’s Power Infusing Concentrate. I never really understood what the term nourishing skin meant, until I let this bad boy steep in. Once I apply the concentrate all over my face, I use Nurse Jamie LA Instant Uplift Facial Beauty Tool to allow the serum to seep deeper into my skin.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream
I finish my daily skincare routine with Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream, and they don’t call this stuff magic for nothing! This hydrating moisturizer with hyaluronic acid intensely moisturizes my skin and has definitely contributed to changing my overall complexion! What I like about this specific moisturizer is that it isn’t oily so I can put makeup on immediately after and although it isn’t a “thin texture” it feels extremely lightweight on the skin, which I love!
Thanks for tuning into my daily skin routine, which I practice both in morning and at night! Stay tuned for my next #SelfCareSunday where I’m talking about my favourite makeup products! Feel free to leave a comment below, xo!
