Holiday Hummus Board
When I think about the holidays the first thing I think about is FOOD! While some might think about ‘over indulging’ – I always aim to entertain with feel-good-foods like Sabra Hummus. One of the main reasons why I always include Sabra Hummus is because of the ease of entertaining- it’s easy to nourish yourself or your family/friends with delicious, creamy hummus that is made from high-quality ingredients.
Now that I like to call myself an “Antipasto board” master, I was very excited to create a Holiday Hummus Board for the holidays. I chose to use Sabra Hummus as the main focus for my board, since it offers bold and satisfying flavours that can be adapted for a plant forward or meat-forward meal!
Want to re-create this beautiful board that features all of the tastes of the traditional holiday table on one stunning and luscious platter? Keep reading for the recipe below!

1 Beet peeled and chopped
2-3 Tbsp of Lite Feta
2 Whole Wheat Pitas Cut into triangles

½ Cucumber chopped
1 Tomato chopped
1 Zucchini, roasted and sliced
2 Artichokes, roasted and sliced
1 Red Pepper, roasted and sliced
1 Orange Pepper, roasted and sliced
¼ Cup of EVOO
½ Lemon
1 Package of Roasted Pine Nut Hummus
Roasted Vegetables Preparation:
- Pre-heat oven to 475 Degrees
- In a large bowl combine the sliced zucchini, artichokes, and red pepper.
- In a small bowl, stir together ¼ cup of EVOO, salt and pepper. Toss with vegetables until they are coasted. Spread evenly on a large roasting pan.
- Roast for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven.
Israeli Salad Preparation:
- Chop the cucumber and tomatoes into small pieces and plate into a large mixing bowl.
- Stir in ¼ cup of EVOO, Lemon Juice, Salt and pepper.
- Mix until all vegetables are well coated.
To Assemble Board:
Lay a small piece of clean burlap in the centre of an 18 x 13 or larger rectangular wooden tray or board. Place the bowl of hummus either in the centre or corner of the board. Cut the Whole Wheat Pita’s into triangles and assemble around the hummus. Arrange the roasted vegetables, Israeli salad, and sweet potato around the board. Fill a small mason jar with olives and place on the opposite side of the hummus. Arrange any remaining ingredients on the board to fill the empty spaces. Sprinkle some lite feta on top of the salads. Enjoy!
